At the 2017 Commercial Vehicle Show, Commercial Tyre Business went on a fact-finding mission to look for the latest technology on offer in the fuel management industry. In the fuel management section, we take a look at the latest products and offerings that were showcased and in some cases debuted last month at the CV show

took a keen presence in
the Forecourt Show,
which was run
simultaneously at the
NEC alongside the CV
Show. As the company is
one of the main
distributors of AdBlue on
the world stage,
Commercial Tyre
Business took some time
to talk to Sean Cole from
Brenntag about their
product range and the
new launches on display
at the Forecourt Show.
Brenntag’s presence at
the show was
predominantly to
promote their new
dispensing systems for
2017 and the company saw the trade fair as the ideal opportunity to launch their new 4 litre AdBlue canister and Customer Operated Self Service Unit.
The new AdBlue canister is a non- drip dispensing pack that will

deliver sufficient levels of AdBlue for 4,000km of driving. The canister is fully recyclable, is suitable for all types of vans and cars and is easy to use. The Customer Operated Self Service Unit is a plug-in self- standing dispensing unit that is
suitable for forecourts or private businesses. The unit has a contactless operation and allows users to fill up according to a timer, which delivers a lower footprint and cost. The unit also requires almost no installation and is adaptable for multiple AdBlue storage types.

The Sapphire Fuel Management Terminal
and the ability to track multiple sites under one page. The Lite solution provides cost effective fuel management with vehicle/driver and stock reporting via the MCS Connect website. Unlimited users have access to the MCS Connect website and complete control of who can access and modify transaction and stock data.
Both ranges can also be fully accessed from any web enabled PC, tablet or smart phone.

fuel management systems
produced by MCS Fuel Management systems.
Firstly, the Sapphire range
of terminals are primarily
used in bus and transport
depots, whilst providing
security, savings, real-time
stock control and reporting
for medium to large fleets.
The system is compatible
with all major fuel cards and can be linked to several models of tank gauge to allow visibility of stock and transaction activity on the same screen. The terminal works with the MCS VIB Datalink in-cab device range to guarantee kilometre and mileage information for fuel management reporting. The complete fuel management package includes stock control, transactions, vehicle and Mileage capture and on- road fuelling data.
Moving on, the Sapphire Lite range
offers an entry level solution for small to medium sized fleets coming with the option for two pumps, no requirement for additional software
DCD Direct Reveals FLEETFUELLERSP to the Market
DCD Direct’s presence at the CV Show was mostly focused on delivering the official market launch of a new fuel pump in the form of the FLEETFUELLERSP.
The FLEETFUELLERSP’s standard features include a nominal flow rate of 40/80/120/160Ipm, electro mechanical totalisers, electronic calibration, ATEX 94/9/EC and MID 2004/22/EC. The product does offer option features that include EMV pay at the Pump, interface with OPT systems, RFID transactions, automatic temperature compensation, on pump printer and vapour recovery stage 2.
The fuel pump that is a part of the M-5300 series provides a high accuracy flowmeter +/- 0.2% and fully certified state of the art electronics.
Additionally, it offers personalised customer branding at no extra cost, an extended warranty and lowers total life cycle costs.
