MWheels Looks to Streamline Business Processes with New European Supply Chain Manager
Following a comprehensive three-month senior consultancy role, MWheels has officially appointed Mike Cornwell to the newly created post of European Supply Chain Manager.
Having already introduced a
sales and operations planning process along with a structured sales forecasting methodology, Cornwell will further develop integrated systems with service partners and suppliers to
improve distribution efficiency
for the company’s full remit of commercial vehicle wheels. Cornwell, who has held senior supply chain roles for over 25
years in a range of global automotive companies including TRW, Bosal and Cummins, will report to Matthew Mardle, Chief Operating Officer of MWheels. Mardle said: “This is a key role and Mike has already demonstrated that with expert knowledge of the supply chain and internationally recognised techniques our business can be much more efficient and effective.”

Mardle continued; “He has been given unrestricted access to all processes and systems which, alongside stock optimisation and inventory costs, will all be closely reviewed and monitored as we look at our next stage of development and cementing a market leading position through faultless service standards and the best product offering.”
Giti Tire Promotes Tominey to Senior Regional Sales Manager for UK Truck and Bus Operations
Giti Tire has promoted Craig Tominey to Senior Regional Sales Manager for its UK truck and bus (TBR) operations, a role he will undertake while maintaining his position as Area Sales Manager (ASM) for Scotland.

Magna Tyres Group has announced the appointment of Arjen Sibon as Sales Manager. In this position, he takes on the responsibility for growing and improving key accounts in the European OTR Tyre business. Sibon has more than twenty years of industry experience. Prior to joining
Magna Tyres Group, he worked as key account manager Europe at Gripen Wheels and Heuver Tyrewholesale. Starting from the first of July Sibon will be part of the Magna Tyres Group and will focus on building strong partnerships with key accounts in Europe.

tasked with delivering new development projects in conjunction with both new and existing customers. These will
be based around CAM’s wide ranging suite of tyre
management software, apps and business data intelligence which will help dealers expand their client base and secure their continued growth. Mike Allen, managing director of CAM, says; “As a business, we continually invest in both our staff and our technology development to ensure our customers receive the
best service and solutions in the marketplace. After three years employed at CAM, Frankie’s well deserved promotion will enable her to utilise the insight and skills she has gained in her previous role as a client liaison officer to drive new development projects for the benefit of our customers.”
