Continued Investment in Customer Service from CAM
    New European Team for Triangle
Chinese tyre manufacturer Triangle has announced the appointment of a new management team for its European headquarters in Milan. Heading the team as General Manager for Europe is industry veteran Corrado Moglia, who has worked for Bridgestone, Marangoni and, most recently, Giti Tire, where he was employed as Managing Director for Latin America and Europe.
Moglia has appointed a team of seasoned tyre industry professionals to
support him including Angelo Giannangeli as European Marketing Director, Mirco Spiniella as European Business Development Director and John Ruddy as European OTR Manager. Moglia commented; “We are confident that the European team will be able to face the challenges of these highly demanding markets through the support of our reshaped product range, marketing investments and our latest innovation strategy.”
Former England under 20 rugby international Rebecca Trist is joining CAM as a customer liaison officer. Her appointment will bolster CAM’s customer service team further to ensure it continues to provide its clients from across the UK and the
Republic of Ireland with the latest information on the software solutions available to them and how the technologies can assist in their business improvement.
An accomplished sportswoman, university graduate and customer
service professional, Rebecca will be working with existing customers to ensure they have access to or are using the full suite of software and data apps available to their company to help them become more accurate, efficient and gain benefit from the time and cost savings CAM systems can deliver.
Mike Allen, managing director of CAM, says, “We aim to provide our customers with high quality service to ensure they can reap the full benefit of our wide- ranging suite of solutions. I look forward to seeing the grit, the appetite to succeed and the organisational skills Rebecca showed on the rugby field translated to the team she is joining and the customers she will be working with.”

Giti Expands Regional Mixed Service Portfolio
Monster Jam Returns to Europe
Giti Tire has expanded its regional mixed service portfolio with the launch of two new tyres for specific applications. Available in 295/80R22.5 and 315/70R22.5, the Giti GAM837 all-position sizes have been specially selected for the growing number of on/off road OE bulk haulage delivery vehicles which later need aftermarket replacements.
The Giti GAM851 is a wide base steer and trailer design, which provides strong performance in rough terrain applications such as construction sites. Initially available in 385/65R22.5 with a load index of 160 (158), further sizes will be released throughout 2017 and 2018. It supersedes the popular GT Radial GT876.
Both tyres feature a new advanced
anti-cut and chip compound providing high resistance against tearing and casing damage on aggressive surfaces, with tread designs ensuring good self- cleaning properties. They are also three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) certified, confirming their all- season performance credentials.
Tony McHugh, TBR Sales and Marketing Director UK at Giti Tire, said: “Our extensive market research looks at all customers, vehicle types and applications, and when we see a pattern emerging and a clear future demand we will always be quick to bring a quality tyre to the respective sector.”
Regarding the new tyres, McHugh added; “The new GAM837 and GAM851 are examples of this commitment to stay abreast of the
market, both being launched for specific on/off road applications in sizes and with certifications which are currently quite scarce in the aftermarket.”
Once again, the Monster Jam Europe tour is in the spotlight – even more energetic and thrilling than ever. The show, sponsored by BKT for the fourth year in a row, provides a great experience to all motorsport enthusiasts, an adventure full of freestyle stunts attracting the attention of more than 4 million spectators worldwide, who are left breathless while watching the acrobatic stunts of these Monster Trucks.
Fitted with special BKT branded tyres, the Monster Trucks were ready to run at full blast at the Vicente Calderón Stadium in Madrid on June 17, and then proceeded to the Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon on June 21.
Like every year, BKT is on the tour as the official and exclusive tyre manufacturer of Monster Jam, equipping the Monster Trucks with the
appropriate tyres to perform the stunts, flips and tricks in full safety. BKT has conceived a purpose-built tyre coming up with the resistance to face these challenges. The BKT Monster Jam tyre ensures excellent performance, whether it is about racing duels over obstacles or freestyle competition.
BKT is partner of the event based on an agreement with Feld Motor Sports - the producer of Monster Jam. This agreement is valid until 2020. The event allows BKT to field its knowledge and skills in developing Off-Highway tyres even for the most unusual application directly on the stage. The media attention and growing number of fans is significantly contributing to the strengthening of BKT’s positioning and image worldwide.
