Interpneu Truck Tyre Warehouse Relocates to Hainichen
The central truck tyre warehouse of the Pneuhage Group was relocated to larger premises at the beginning of August. In the industrial area of Hainichen, two halls with direct access to the motorway have been hired on a long term basis with a total of 6,500 square metres. This increases the company's storage capacity from 30,000 to 45,000 truck tyres.
At the previous location in Nossen, storage capacity had already been exhausted for some time, especially since it was being shared with agricultural, EM and industrial tyres.
With its expansion into Hainichen, which is 20 kilometres away, the company sees an ideal framework for the further development of the
company’s wholesale business in the truck tyre sector. Erwin Schwab, responsible for commercial vehicle tyres within the Pneuhage Group, explains the company’s focus on achieving customer satisfaction in addition to offering a wide range and attractive exclusive brands. The company offers a 24 delivery service to its own subsidiaries and cooperation partners, as well as to other dealer customers and truck workshops. In addition, the new facilities in Hainichen also made it possible to set up a large exhibition area for product training for the company’s employees.

education, recognising the achievements, and advancing the profession of car and LCV fleet management – incorporated advice from the leading fleet tyre provider into its latest ‘Masterclass’ conference.
That saw Michelin Key Account Manager, Peter Wood, present on the topics of tyre safety, policy choice, EU tyre labelling legislation, tyre data and best-practice advice. ICFM Director Peter Eldridge says: “Fleet management is a minefield of legal, technical and financial concerns. However, working with major suppliers like Michelin and using its expertise within ICFM events, such
as the recent Masterclass on occupational road risk management, means we can offer a level of industry insight and best-practice advice that’s second to none.” Wood explains: “When selecting a tyre policy, it’s vital that fleet managers and procurement teams look beyond purely up-front cost, and consider all the factors to running a safe and efficient fleet. Getting your tyre policy right can affect a fleet in so many ways – it’s not just about stopping distances, traction and fuel efficiency, but additional factors such as increasing uptime, mobility and duty of care.”
SPEEDLINE TRUCK Convinces at the Nürburgring
ICFM Treads New Ground with Michelin
The third race of this year's FIA Truck Racing Championship took place at the Nürburgring from 30 June to 2 July 2017. SPEEDLINE TRUCK has been actively supporting the tankpool24 racing team since 2013. This season, the company is again actively contributing to the racing team’s success as one of the suppliers of light alloy forged wheels for commercial vehicles, trailers and buses.
As a sponsor of the tankpool24 racing team, SPEEDLINE TRUCK was on site with its own stand and staff and presented its wheel range throughout the entire racing weekend. Moreover, an additional customer event
took place with visitors from Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden. This season the tankpool24 racing team is using specially developed closed wheels of 22.5x9.00 inches, which
reduce water formation on the tyre, thereby contributing to improved road adhesion and increased driving safety.
In the course of the three races the forged wheels from SPEEDLINE TRUCK demonstrated their high strength and safety several times, particularly during the crash between Norbert Kiss with two other drivers in the second race on Saturday.
