Ventech to Display PNEUSCAN at CV Show
VENTECH Systems GmbH will be showcasing its latest tyre monitoring solution PNEUSCAN at next month's Commercial Vehicle Show (NEC, Birmingham; 25-27 April).
For the second time, VENTECH Systems will attend the Commercial Vehicle Show, demonstrating to CV operators that there is a simple and cost-effective way of checking fleet's tyre pressures and tread depth, gaining information on weight and load at the same time. The market leader for stationary tyre inspection systems - meanwhile with 6 sales partners in 7 countries on 3 continents - showcases as a developer and distributor of innovative ideas for tyre pressure, tread inspection and axle load monitoring.
Information and consultancy is given not only on how to benefit from efficient data management but also on the latest development PNEUSCAN ONGROUND. VENTECH recently expanded its offer with this ground-mounted version of PNEUSCAN. The special feature of this innovation is the fact that the carrier plate, which is only 50 mm high - can be installed very quickly without any civil engineering work, i.e. without commissioning third parties. "PNEUSCAN ONGROUND" is not only relocatable and reusable but also customisable to end users’ infrastructure. The ground-mounted system is flexible when choosing a location irrespective of the building and property ownership. This makes it ideal for fleet operators with rented estate. In addition, the system is leasable. Only a network and power connection is needed. The system is connected immediately after positioning and then ready for operation.
This year, VENTECH Systems is already announcing initial innovations with regard to the expansion of the functional range. For example, an e-mail notification will be implemented soon: An automatic notification to the vehicle manager and / or user is sent, in particular when deviating results from tyre pressure and profile depth occur.
Fleet operators state that PNEUSCAN systems contribute decisively to increasing safety and the profitability. Limpens, a freight forwarder located in Elsloo in the Netherlands is convinced of the advantages of the PNEUSCAN tyre diagnostic system. As a participant in the environmental programme "lean + green", the freight forwarder always strives for ways to increase cost efficiency and reduce CO2
emissions. The PNEUSCAN system installed on the premises in Elsloo records tyre pressure, axle load, total vehicle weight and tread depth. COO Nico Smeets commented; "With the regular checks of our vehicles, breakdowns can largely be prevented."
By monitoring inflation and tread depth on a regular basis, operators can keep vehicles running safely and cost- effectively, while reducing fuel usage and lowering risks.
