and Maximum Soil Care
in twenty different sizes. Agrimax RT 955 features a special tyre tread and a rounded shoulder, ensuring traction and a constant contact with the terrain.
To complete the sprayer ranges, there are the two tyres: Agrimax RT 855 and Agrimax RT 765, which are suitable for both row crop spraying and grape harvesting. The first is a radial tyre, which is known for its driving comfort and traction. It is ideal for soil tillage, as well as
for field and road transport with availability in 44 different sizes. The latter tyre is part of the BKT 70 series - designed for sprayers or modern tractors in heavy-duty operations. Thanks to the new- generation compound, this tyre, available in 34 sizes, is resistant to cuts and abrasions, provides grip and ensures minimum soil compaction.
BKT has always been committed to develop customised solutions capable of satisfying the most diverse user needs facing the challenges of modern
compaction. This tyre can be used for several purposes, both in the fields and on the road - always
ensuring maximum driving comfort, as well as stability.
Good traction performance and a
constant contact with the terrain complete the profile of Agrimax Spargo. There are currently four sizes available on the market: VF 380/85 R 38, VF 380/90 R 46,
VF 380/105 R 50 and VF 420/95 R 50.
In addition to Agrimax Spargo, BKT boasts a
complete range of narrow tyres, which are ideal for sprayers and also farming vehicles operating amidst
farming. Thinking of machinery employed in spraying operations,
BKT has conceived
tyres that are able to stand heavy loads and, simultaneously,
preserve the crops without compacting the soil. Moreover, the tyres must guarantee the maximum comfort to drivers during frequent field and road transfers. With this in mind, BKT’s primary goal is to provide suitable products, which can

  Trelleborg Finalise CGS Holding Acquisition
Trelleborg has finalised the acquisition of CGS Holding a.s. – a privately-owned company with leading positions in agricultural, industrial and specialty tyres, as well as engineered polymer solutions. The total cash consideration amounted to approximately SEK 10.9 billion on a cash and debt-free basis. CGS is headquartered in the Czech Republic.
“It is highly gratifying to welcome CGS to the Trelleborg Group. The company has long been on our list of interesting acquisitions. The acquisition means that Trelleborg will almost double its sales in agricultural tyres, strengthen its leading position in
with a particularly strong position within the agricultural tyres sector. The offering of specialty tyres is complemented by Rubena’s and Savatech’s niche engineered polymer solutions businesses, including seals, sealing profiles, specialty moulded products, printing blankets and other engineered fabrics.
“We are convinced the agricultural market will recover, enabling us to benefit from an attractive footprint when it does. Accordingly, we consider the purchase consideration to be attractive considering the expected synergies and the future recovery of the agricultural
industrial tyres and add new positions in complementary specialty tyres segments. CGS’s engineered polymer solutions add new interesting positions, as well as strengthening Trelleborg’s existing leading positions in several of the Group’s current business areas,” said Peter Nilsson, President and CEO of Trelleborg.
CGS Holding includes the businesses Mitas, Rubena and Savatech. Mitas accounts for approximately two-thirds of group sales and has strong mid- market specialty tyres brands
market,” concluded Peter Nilsson.
Mitas will be integrated into the Trelleborg Wheel Systems business area. During the transition, other operations will be independent from Trelleborg’s existing operations before being gradually integrated into current business areas.
Following the acquisition, Trelleborg will have sales of about SEK 30 billion, with about 23,000 employees in 47 countries.

satisfy the differing needs, with a focus on optimising costs and fostering crop yields, along
with a healthy soil, in
row crops, or for grape harvesting in vineyards. The first in the list is
Agrimax RT 945, whose tyre tread has been specifically
conceived for soil protection and crop
preservation. Its self- cleaning capacity
facilitates transfers from the fields to the road, while being constantly delicate to the soil. Apart from its ability for spraying operations, this tyre is
particularly effective for row crops, and is
available in seven sizes.
