The Bandag M852 is a winter
trailer retread focussing on safety, reliability and
efficiency. Engineered for Nordic conditions and employing the very latest
Bridgestone winter tyre technologies, the Bandag M852 trailer tread combines superb grip on snow and ice with high cut
and wear resistance, making it an ideal choice for on/off
road applications. It is available in 265/70R19.5 and
275/70R22.5 sizes.
The Bandag M788 all-season
trailer retread has been designed for use in milder
climates, where winter conditions can still be challenging and unpredictable. Highly durable with superb stability on wet, dry and even snow-covered roads, the Bandag M788’s outstanding durability and superbly balanced performance also mean it is a great choice for year-round use. Highly durable compounds designed and developed by Bridgestone engineers guarantee outstanding mileage. Michelin has announced the launch of Michelin Tire Care, a suite of software solutions designed to help hauliers optimise their tyre management. The mobile/tablet- based software is aimed to help improve the performance and financial value of tyre purchases and thereby help fleets realise the benefits of buying premium tyres.
Michelin Tire Care consists of three products – TireLog, which is a free
digital worksheet, product comparison and workshop planning tool aimed at smaller fleets of less than 20 vehicles. iCheck, which provides predictive tyre diagnostics for larger fleets, and iManage, which incorporates RFID and TPMS technology to provide a maintenance and traceability package for each tyre. TireLog is free of charge, whilst the other two products are available on a subscription basis.

Sava Widens Truck Tyre Choice with New Sizes
Sava Tyres, one of southeast Europe’s leading tyre brands, is increasing the number of popular truck tyre sizes, offering cost-conscious operators a greater choice. Five new truck tyres have been added to the latest generation of the Avant 4 steer, Orjak 4 drive and Cargo 4 trailer tyre ranges, covering increasingly popular low aspect ratio sizes.
Sizes 295/60R22.5 and 315/60R22.5 are now available in both the Avant 4 steer and Orjak 4 drive tyres, as well as a Cargo 4 trailer tyre in size 385/55R22.5. Like the other dimensions the new ones carry the M+S marking on the sidewall, which certifies in snow conditions a
performance better than that of a normal tyre to initiate or maintain vehicle motion.
The Avant 4, Orjak 4 and Cargo 4 tyre combination has been developed for vehicles operating in long and regional haul as well as in local distribution. With the latest line extension the Avant 4 steer and the Orjak 4 drive tyres are now available in the five sizes 315/80 R 22.5, 315/70 R 22.5, 295/80 R 22.5, 295/60R22.5 (NEW) and 315/60R22.5 (NEW). The Cargo 4 trailer tyre introduced last year is now available in the two sizes 385/65R22.5 and 385/55R22.5 (NEW).
Kraiburg Reissues Pattern Programme
The updated Kraiburg Austria pattern programme is now available. The 2015/2016 product catalogue is laid out in the usual way in that the patterns are listed in ascending number order.
Naturally, all the new Kraiburg designs are included in the latest programme, such as the new K701 winter specialist, a home-grown traction tread with open shoulders. Designed as an all-weather tread, its deep siping guarantees the optimum transfer of tractive forces in winter, even in extreme Scandinavian
conditions. The optimised interaction between tread bars and ribs and the compound, designed specifically for this tread pattern, provide an excellent hard-wearing surface on the K701. In addition to the dimensions of 250 and 260 mm which can already be supplied, the width 270 mm will also be available in time for the start of the winter season.
