Tony Doyle, who has been with Bandvulc for over 5 years, is to change roles in 2014 to manage the Bandvulc Solutions’ (formally known as Bandvulc Tyre Contracts) network of independent service providers. There to provide support in whatever capacity, Tony will manage and develop relationships and oversee new projects and enhancements to Bandvulc Solutions’ customer service.
Tony comments, “It’s a role which I’m used to, having worked in the tyre service industry previously and it was part of my role when I joined Bandvulc. Now however it is a vital role which encompasses so many areas and will support
Bandvulc Solutions’ general customer service developments which I know are well underway. I’m excited by the changes and look forward to fresh challenges both in delivering enhancements
and ensuring in return that service standards for our key clients remain at the highest levels.”

Motor Wheel Service Distribution (MWSD) has promoted Karl Ellis to the newly created position of OE Sales Manager for steel and xlite forged aluminium wheels. Ellis, who has been with the company for over 20 years, has moved from the role of Head of UK & Ireland xlite Sales where he oversaw excellent growth across both truck and trailer markets since the product’s launch in 2010.
He will be responsible for all OE technical, ordering and
aftermarket aspects, and be a single point of contact for all truck and trailer manufacturers.
Ellis will work closely with Kevin Ryan, who
continues his
role as
Executive
Sales Director
with a
extended
remit to
develop
European
business.

Vacu-Lug Appoints New Business Development Manager for the South East
David Fowler has been appointed to the position of Business Development Manager for Vacu-Lug Traction Tyres Limited. Covering an area including Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and southwards from there to Hampshire and areas east of that line, Fowler will be responsible for further increasing Vacu-Lug’s market share of the region’s major fleets.
David Fowler joined the industry in 1984 and brings extensive experience to Vacu-Lug. Over a 26 year period he held a wide range of commercial positions with ATS Euromaster including Sales, Centre Manager, National Fleets Executive
and Business Development. He was next with Pirelli for four years where his extensive sales and product knowledge was further expanded.
