Magna Report Satisfied Customers in OTR and Construction Sector

Magna Tyres has been reporting good levels of customer satisfaction over the past few months, especially in the OTR and construction sectors of the market. This good performance has been noted across several applications.
Firstly, a large recycling company in the Netherlands has been using the Magna MA08 on their CAT 966M XE wheel loader. This company produces premium products from construction and demolition waste and the MA08
comfort elements of the tyre particularly impressing. After 18 months of hard work at a recycling site, 30 of the original 41 mm tread depth remain. Due to this performance, Otto Wolf has decided to mount Magna MA02 tyres also on the front axle of his wheel loader.
The Magna MA02 is intended to be used by wheel loaders, articulated dump trucks, scrapers and dozers. Its sidewall protection and flotation are enhanced by the wide shoulder design, with
enhanced traction and performance delivered through non- directional E3+/L3+ tread. In a similar vein to the MA08 the protector plies optimise load performance and operator comfort, whilst the high-tech casing of the tyre minimises the risk of heat build-up.
In addition, the 26,5R25 MTP WB05 has achieved solid performance at one of the biggest mushroom
cultivators in Poland. Previously tyres were used from various competitors, with both budget and premium used. Nevertheless, they failed to meet the low cost per hour from the MTP. Within these demanding circumstances, on a rigid ground full of ammonia, MTP WB05 has proven to be a reliable tyre.
The MTP 26,5R25 WB05 was created with the intention of it being used on wheel loaders, dozers and graders requiring maximum traction. The tyre has an optimised square-shouldered design that provides stability and protection from cuts, with an aggressive, open tread pattern delivering extra traction and stable ground contact.
The Superdoll OTR retreading and repair plant, located in Zambia’s Ndola Copperbelt has announced that it has achieved ISO 9001- 2015 certification. The plant, which is claimed to be the laregest OTR retreading plant in the world, was assesed by the Zambian Bureau of Standards (ZABS) on April 4-5, 2017.
After a three-year construction process supported by the Zambian Government, through the Zambian Development Agency
(ZDA), Superdoll has now started to operate and serve the entire Zambian mining industry.
“Our Superdoll OTR plant is equipped with the latest world technology, state of the art machines, non-destructive Shearography method, and decades of experience”, said Vick Nachshon, CEO of Superdoll Zambia. The plant is capable of retreading and repairing OTR tyres from 25” up to 63”.
The Magna MA02 has been used by Otto Wolf for a year and a half.
