The 66th IAA Commercial Vehicle Show takes place in Hannover, Germany from September 22 to 29 this year with a focus on how road freight traffic and logistics will continue to develop in the age of new mobility.
Under the strapline of “New Mobility World Logistics” the organisers will invite visitors to the show to familiarise themselves with five key topics, namely the connected vehicle, automated driving, alternative powertrains, urban logistics and transport services. They will be able to do this in a number of different ways, through presentations in the form of congresses with discussion forums and exhibitions, test drives in electric vehicles, and demonstrations of products, services and applicatins in the “New Mobility World LIVE” demonstration area. The organisers will also be offering four themed guided tours for the first time.

In a statement delivered in June 23rd at the German Association of the Automotive Industry’s (VDA) International Press Workshop in Frankfurt, VDA President Matthias Wissmann showed himself to be very optimistic about the state of the automotive industr y and of the prospects for a successful exhibition.
