Last and certainly not least, the S917 off-road, all-position tyre is designed to operate in demanding conditions such as mining, construction and logging applications. tread design for

road traction
and an
enhanced
rubber
compound to
resist cuts and
chunking.
Open shoulder
ribs deliver
superior stability
and resistance to
uneven wear. The
extra-deep 24.61mm tread depth provides long tread life and an exceptional cost per mile.
The Double Coin stand will be immediately opposite Sailun in
Hall 5 on stand 5E110.
Key products on the stand
will include the 385/65R22.5 sized
RT910 super single tyre, which has achieved particularly impressive label results, matching those of premium brand
rivals, with A-rated fuel
efficiency, B-rated wet grip and two-wave (73dB)
pass-by noise. Also
receiving particular attention on the Double Coin stand will be the RT606 coach and bus tyre in size 275/70R22.5, and the new RT600,
described by the
manufacturer as a
“premium low profile regional
all-position steer tyre.”
Also on show at the NEC will be Kirkby's value offering:
Longmarch, which the company says has still not received any returns or complaints. Kirkby
also offer steel and alloy truck wheels and fitted units to any
specification.
Vacu-Lug Traction Tyres, the Grantham-based commercial tyre retreading specialist and tyre
management solutions provider, will be present at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show in Hall 4 (Stand 4H120) showcasing its range of Vacu-Lug retread and Westlake truck and bus tyres.
A wide selection of Westlake’s latest range of truck tyres will be on display, featuring drive, trailer and steer applications, to suit a range of commercial transport needs, including heavy and light truck, waste management and construction. The Westlake programme includes the WDM1 drive tyre for mixed service vehicles; the WSR+1 for light trucks and the WTM1 mixed service trailer tyre. Westlake’s SC328 van tyre will also be on show.
From Vacu-Lug’s own premium retread range will be the Logistik drive LD01 and the Logistik trailer LT01. Also from the Vacu-Lug retread
stable will be a selection of Duramold tyres designed for a cross- section of heavy and light truck operations.
Visitors to the stand will also be able to find out about Vacu-Lug’s fleet management service. The Vacu-Lug Management System (VMS) is a bespoke tyre management system for use by its customers throughout the UK. VMS is an online application which enhances compliance, fleet efficiency and, ultimately, safety. The system enables complete traceability
Kirkby Tyres to Show Latest
Patterns from Sailun and
Double Coin
Kirkby Tyres will once again have a strong presence at the CV Show with
separate stands for their two key truck brands, Sailun and Double
Coin.
Sailun will be in Hall 5
on Stand 5F111 where
a number of key
patterns will be on
show.
The S701 Long Haul
Drive tyre is designed for long-distance journeys and
incorporates a specialised rubber tread compound
providing excellent abrasion performance.
The variable pitch tread design and narrow horizontal grooves effectively reduce tyre noise. Meanwhile, the S629 is a long haul/regional steer tyre,
which features a unique shoulder design with
deeper grooves to prevent irregular wear and tread
and allows operators to access all transactions and analyse fleet data in real-time using full tyre usage reports for each item of equipment.
In partnership with the global Zenises Group, Vacu-Lug is the UK distributor for all Westlake truck and bus radial tyres, which are manufactured by Zhongce Rubber (ZC Rubber) – now one of the world’s leading producers of commercial vehicle tyres.
TyrePal to Exhibit New TPMS System
At this year’s CV Show, tyre pressure monitoring system specialist TyrePal will display two of its latest fleet monitoring products, the in- cab tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and the TeleTPMS.
Visitors to the show will be able to sign up to advanced trials of TyrePal’s TeleTPMS, a remote tyre pressure monitoring system for commercial fleet vehicles. TeleTPMS allows drivers and fleet managers to monitor tyre pressure and receive alarms by e-mail or SMS when tyres are over or under inflated, overinflated and overheating while also providing live
updates on the location of all monitored vehicles.
TyrePal’s TeleTPMS comprises of a set of sensors, which can be fitted inside or outside the tyres, a dashboard-mounted module that displays the pressure of the vehicle’s tyres for the driver's benefit. The module also transmits location and tyre data via GPRS to a remote database. The user can access the live data stream using any internet connected device and a secure log in. TyrePal will also be exhibiting its in-cab TPMS, which gives continuous feedback to the driver and an immediate clear alert in the event of a problem.
