Cam Systems were present on the Bridgestone stand at the CV Show to promote e-jobsheet.com, the company’s new digital tablet based work management system – designed to reduce back-office
“E-jobsheet is an “everyman solution,” said Daly. “Even a small dealer can use it for as little as £25 per month. We’ve lowered the floor in terms of the ability provide a quality service through tablet
Germany have shown up to 33% tyre wear savings on trailer axles and 20% on the drive axle.
Tested and approved by the respected DEKRA organisation, Easybalance takes seconds to add during tyre fitting. No special valve cores required and it is guaranteed not to cause leakage at the valve
core or tyre bead, or to cause damage to the inner liner. No air dryer needed, as Easybalance’s micropores absorb moisture in the tyre, actively drying the air and protecting the rim from corrosion. Easybalance is available in single- use pouches or in bulk tubs, with dosage table and scoop.
Michelin Launches New Fuel Saving Super Single
Michelin has extended its range of long distance fuel-saving tyres with the new 385/65 R 22.5 Michelin X Line Energy F making its debut at the CV Show. The launch enables heavy truck fleets running super single steer tyres to access Michelin’s latest generation fuel- saving tyres. The new tyre offers a lower rolling resistance combined with up to a 15 per cent increase in mileage performance versus the 385/65 R 22.5 Michelin XFA2 Energy Anti-Splash
it replaces.

Guy Heywood, Commercial Director of Michelin’s truck and bus division, says: “Michelin X Line Energy tyres deliver great results on fuel; adding this new size means we can help more fleets to reduce their operating costs.” Commenting on the technology built into the new tyre, Heywood adds: “What really stands out with
the X Line Energy range is that we’ve achieved such low rolling resistance without compromising performance in other areas – this is something Michelin calls ‘Total Performance’.
“It’s testament to the more than €600 million Michelin invests in research and development every year, which has enabled us to develop a fuel-saving tyre which also delivers excellent mileage performance, traction, road
handling and comfort.”
The new 385/65 R 22.5 Michelin X Line Energy F has been rated ‘B’ for fuel efficiency, ‘B’ for wet grip and rated at 69dB for external noise under European tyre labelling legislation.

issues and improve data entry in the commercial vehicle tyre sector . The platform takes advantage of low cost digital tablet technology to deliver savings back to commercial tyre service providers by reducing the requirement to re-key job details into two different systems for 3rd party work – so long as that manufacturer has chosen to participate in the platform. The platform was originally launched at the Reifen show in 2014. Cam Systems have worked with Bridgestone since 2013 and now have a Europe-wide technical cooperation agreement to develop the project’s software.
The e-jobsheet platform was presented to Cam’s Uniserv user group the day before the show, and according to Commercial Director Steve Daly it was well received.
subscription.”
Bridgestone and CAM have already announced their intention to work with the whole industry in the further development of the e- jobsheet.com platform in order to help manufacturers, dealers and fleets experience significant service and efficiency benefits in an open and inclusive, yet structured and secure way.
“Service partners love the system,” said Daly. “Many are tired of manufacturers asking them to use their app which doesn’t have a connection to them and want a standardised solution. The system is open not just to Cam customers but to others as well, and Daly has made it clear that his competitors are welcome to become involved in the discussion.
Interest in Easybalance at CV Show
According to Safety Seal Europe AB, there was plenty of interest in the company’s Easybalance tyre balancing compound at the CV Show. The company focused on highlighting the benefits on PPK contracts of balancing all commercial wheels and not just the steer axle. According to Safety Seal, recent tests in
