blocks effectively enhance any eccentric wear resistance. This tyre has been specifically designed to include a unique structure within the blocks which prevents chunking, chipping and safeguards against foreign material retention. Current size options for the RW105 are 11R22.5 through to 315/80R22.55.
The Routeway RW201, RW202 and RW203 patterns incorporate four longitudinal tread grooves to give excellent driving performance plus transverse grooves with inserted steel to further strengthen heat dispersion and impressive anti-skid properties on slippery roads. Whilst an overall unique and flexible groove design improves driving comfort and safety. Sizes for all three patterns range from 11R22.5 up to295/75R22.5.
The Routeway RW205 presents a special sequential shoulder pattern to prevent eccentric tread wear plus a wider tread design ensures impressive wear and extends tyre life. Also a small steel splice on the shoulder decreases noise levels and strengthens dispersing heat. Current size options are from 11R22.5 to 315/80R22.5. Finally the
Routeway RW603 is another equally impressive truck tyre which incorporates most of the features and benefits found on the complete range with sizes from 385/55R22.5 up to 435/50R19.5.
Dunlop is renewing its SP 344 regional haul steer tyre range in 17.5 inch rim sizes with the introduction of the new SP 344*. The latest generation of the successful SP 344
Preedy, Goodyear Dunlop UK Commercial Director. “For this type of operation good mileage, even wear and robustness are vital for efficiency. So we focused on these performance criteria when we developed the new SP 344* to make sure the tyre
delivers especially in these areas. We are convinced that the new Dunlop
SP 344* with its improved performance will continue the
successful history of the SP 344 series.”
The main features and benefits include the new compound. The compound
gives improved robustness which is key for delivery and
regional haul service applications and a better wet
grip performance. In addition it improves the resistance of groove
cracks. The blade and groove density of the successful tread pattern provide wet skid resistance. The five rib design and closed shoulder ribs provide in combination with the new tread compound a good mileage, good handling and even wear. Another tread feature is the special groove shape, which has proven its stone rejection capabilities.
The new Dunlop SP 344* steer tyres are available in sizes 245/70R17.5 136/134M TL and 265/70R17.5 139/136M TL. In terms of EU tyre label ratings, both tyres are rated B for wet grip with D for fuel efficiency. External noise grades are 71 dB and two waves for the 245/70R17.5 and the 265/70R17.5 139/136M is labelled 73 dB and two waves.
series is specifically designed to suit today’s demanding delivery and regional haul service requirements. The main benefit of the new SP 344* is increased robustness combined with good mileage, even wear, excellent handling and wet braking performance.
The SP 344* features a new tread compound, which provides increased robustness and better wet grip compared to its predecessor. Combined with the robust carcass construction, the new Dunlop SP 344* increases fleet efficiency in regional haul service conditions.
“The new Dunlop SP 344* in 17.5” is aimed at fleets engaged in distribution and regional operations,” said Marc

MTP Budget Range
Enjoy Tyre Offer Comprehensive Choice with Routeway Brand
Progressive Contract Tyre Manufacturer Enjoy Tyre says it can provide an extensive range of versatile tyres to suit all truck and trailer applications through the company’s established Routeway brand.
The Routeway truck range consists of seven specially designed patterns including the RW103 which incorporates a unique block design to ensure excellent traction and overall braking performance. Whilst thin shoulder grooves improve the dispersement of heat and a special structure design among the blocks effectively prevent stones becoming lodged in the tread. Sizes for the RW103 range from 11R22.5 to 295/75R22.5.

Vacu-Lug Traction Tyres has announced the introduction of a new budget range of off-the-road (OTR) tyres. The new range, named MTP, is produced by Magna Tyres Group, and will act as Vacu-Lug’s official budget brand, affirming the message that it is possible to offer a quality product to customers on a lower budget.
The development of the MTP range further enhances Magna Tyres’ already impressive product range, which is mainly made up of cushion solids and pneumatic OTR tyres for all applications, including cranes. Vacu-Lug is the UK sole supplier for Magna Tyres’ products.
With the creation of the MTP range, the aim is to satisfy customer
demand for low cost, but quality, tyres for use in tough applications requiring articulated dump trucks (ADTs) and
front end loaders.
The range will offer a variety of
competitively priced OTR tyres for different sectors of the market.
The MTP budget line offers a selection of tyres, in the most common tyre sizes (20.5R25, 23.5R25, 26.R25, 29.5R25 and 21.00R35). Key features of the tyres include optimal durability,
enhanced working comfort and excellent traction.
