New Conti Eco Plus Offers Reduced Fuel Consumption
Continental claims to be setting new benchmarks in commercial goods transportation with its new tyre range, Conti EcoPlus. The highlight of this latest range, specially designed for use in motorway and long-distance operations, is maximum
their usual conflicting requirements in tyre development. The closed shoulders give the steer axle tyre the necessary stability to suppress fuel-intensive flexing, while tightly interlocking micro- sipes with a new silica

which are flattened on the
side. The special chamfered edge reduces fuel consumption, while at the same time stiffening the sidewall construction. The Conti EcoPlus HD3 is marked with the Three Peak Mountain Snow Flake (3PMSF) symbol.

The third member of the Conti EcoPlus family is the HT3 trailer tyre for articulated truck or trailer use. Strong, closed shoulder belts, optimised rubber compound, the Fuel Saving Edge and Plus Volume Pattern bring significant improvements in terms of rolling resistance and handling characteristics.
