ZC Rubber showcased its latest Off-The-Road (OTR) tyre innovations at BAUMA 2025, held in Munich from 7–13 April. The company unveiled new OTR tyre products from its premium brands, WESTLAKE and TIANLI. Both are designed to meet the needs of demanding off-road applications with enhanced performance, durability, and versatility.
WESTLAKE by ZC Rubber: Heavy-Duty Solutions for Construction and Mining
WESTLAKE debuted the 29.5R25 CB740 tyre at the show, specifically designed for articulated dump trucks. The tyre has a robust block tread design. It offers enhanced ground contact, stability, and superior resistance to punctures and wear.
The tread depth has been increased by 17% compared to the TRA standard E-4 pattern. This effectively extends the tyre’s service life. Additionally, the multi-compound design adapts to various operating conditions. The upgraded sidewall compound boosts puncture resistance by 10% and reduces crack propagation by 15%.
WESTLAKE also presented the 35/65R33 CB398 for underground mining trucks and the 290/90-20 EL08 for wheeled excavators, underscoring its expertise in high-demand, heavy-duty operations.
TIANLI: Specialised Solutions for Forestry and Agriculture
The new ZC Rubber 800/45-30.5 FOREST GRIP tyre features an open tread design that significantly enhances self-cleaning capability. Primarily designed for forestry equipment, its unique tread structure evenly distributes engine power across the contact surface. This reduces slippage and maximises power efficiency. With excellent flotation, cut resistance, and traction, it is for articulated dump trucks operating in challenging off-road conditions.
TIANLI highlighted the 460/70R24 BACKTRACK RADIAL SUPREME for agricultural applications, a versatile radial tyre designed for agricultural machines such as backhoes and telehandlers. Its robust tread base design offers superior traction and wear resistance. The reinforced shoulder design further improves stability and puncture resistance, making it well-suited for demanding environments.
