Yokohama raises tyre prices across two of its major tyre brands, coming into effect in May 2024.
Mitas & Trelleborg: Global Price Increases of Up to 5%
Effective May 2024, Yokohama brands Mitas and Trelleborg tyres will implement global price increases of up to 5% across all segments in response to significant inflation, escalating raw material costs, and increased inbound logistics expenses over the past two years. Specific details regarding the price adjustments will be communicated directly to customers by representatives from each brand in their respective markets, ensuring transparency and clarity throughout the process.
“As a result of strong inflation over the last two years, a rise in the cost of raw materials, and higher inbound logistic costs, effective from 1st May 2024, prices will be increased by 5% across all brands in the Agriculture and Construction segments,” explains David Miller, Managing Director UK & Ireland at Yokohama TWS.
Miller continues, “An updated price list will be sent shortly. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your Account Manager or the Customer Service team for any further clarification. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to continuing a successful business relationship in the future.”
