German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) published its monthly report on commercial vehicle registrations in Germany in November 2024.
November 2024 Registrations in Germany
According to the latest VDA report, commercial vehicle registrations in Germany declined by 3% in November 2024 compared to November 2023, with a total of 30,709 registrations. From January 2024 to November 2024, the number increased by 3%, with 345,684 registrations.
Light commercial vehicle (LCV) registrations in Germany declined by 1% in November 2024, with 24,404 new units registered. From January 2024 to November 2024, LCV registrations grew by 8%, with a total of 264,593 new registrations.
Heavy commercial vehicles (trucks ≥16t) declined by 18%, with 4,397 new registrations in November 2024. From January 2024 to November 2024, there were a total of 57,179, representing a 13% decline.
Bus registrations in Germany declined by 21% in Germany, with 424 new buses registered in November 2024. From January 2024 to November 2024, the number grew by 2%, with a total of 4,992 new units registered.
