With sales of 1,159 tractors over 50hp, the figures from the AEA (Agricultural Engineer’s Association) show a drop of merely 40 units of tractors, compared to 2020. With this minor drop, the year-to-date figures show a healthy 19.1% on 2020.
Tractor Market Still Showing Signs of Covid-19 Fallout but Current 2021 Figures Show the Market is on the Up
In figures which will encourage the agricultural sector, the near 10,000 total registered in the first nine months is a clear 19% up on the year before. In 2021, each month has seen a rise on the year before, bar this month, which locked in a negative. Compared to 2019’s 10,127, the 9,852 registrations show a market close to recovery.
