Tructyre Strengthens Safety and Quality Standards with ISO Recertification
Tructyre was awarded ISO 45001 for demonstrating that the health and safety framework they created was being adhered to by all operational employees. They also acted to minimise the risk of work-related injuries and poor mental health. Therefore, establishing that they provide a safe and healthy workplace.
The audit assessed how Tructyre technicians prepared for and undertook their duties and the vans and equipment used. The process verified adherence to the legal health and safety requirements at work.
Tructyre has said that they adopt a ‘No compromise on Safety’ approach, believing that no task is so essential that it cannot be completed safely and by their safety systems.
Having identified significant hazards and assessed risk, Tructyre developed and implemented a set of six non-negotiable ‘Lifesaving Rules’ that all operational staff must follow. These rules require following the correct processes and procedures to do the job safely. This includes, for instance, inflating tyres or raising vehicles correctly.
