Los Premios Hevea, organised by Europneus has nominated Trelleborg for three awards, capping off a strong year for the manufacturer.
Trelleborg Receive Nominations in Diverse Categories
For Los Premios Hevea 2021, Trelleborg received nominations for Best Industry Director (Ramón Martínez, Country Manager Spain and Portugal at Trelleborg Wheel Systems), Best OTR Tyre (Trelleborg EMR 1051) and Best Agricultural Tyre (Trelleborg PneuTrac). Trelleborg will be vying for the awards, with fierce competition from leading manufacturers and aftermarket players across the Spanish tyre market.
Ramón Martínez, on the news of the nominations, says: “All of us at Trelleborg are proud to be nominated by Europneus magazine and feel this recognises the excellence of our products. For me, with 20 years at the helm of Trelleborg Wheel Systems in Spain, it’s particularly satisfying to be up for the Hevea Best Industry Director Award and to see our tyres selected as well. This honour demonstrates all the effort invested in the research and innovation behind all our offerings.”
Engineered using a state-of-the-art compound and boasting a strong radial carcass, plus extra-deep tread, the earth-moving radial EMR 1051 tyre optimises load distribution and tyre life while boosting ride comfort and fuel efficiency. Designed for heavy loads, it is a prime solution for intensive construction jobs, including for open pits and quarries.
Trelleborg’s revolutionary PneuTrac nomination as Best Agricultural Tyre follows the TM1000 ProgressiveTraction winning first place in the Hevea awards in 2019. Making tracks throughout the agricultural industry, including vineyards and fruit groves, PneuTrac combines the benefits of a radial agricultural tyre with a track. The results mean an extra-long footprint and powerful flotation and traction grip without compromising on fuel efficiency, comfort, or handling.
