Trelleborg expanded its TM800 ProgressiveTraction® with new sizes (600/65R28 and 710/70R38) for mid- to high-horsepower tractors.
New Sizes
With the addition of two new sizes, the Trelleborg TM800 ProgressiveTraction® is now available in six sizes: 540/65R28, 650/65R38, 480/65R28, 600/65R38, 600/65R28, and 710/70R38 for a wide variety of tractor models within the 150-250 HP segment. According to Trelleborg, with the new additional sizes and broader tyre selection, it hopes to provide more options for specialised farmers and contractors, helping them maximise traction, durability and fuel efficiency across various agricultural applications.
ProgressiveTraction® technology improves traction thanks to the tyre’s double-edge lug design, delivering up to 17% more grip on soft soil and a 10% boost on hard soil. This improves field operations, reduces slippage, improves fuel efficiency and minimises soil compaction.
With its tread patterns and compound materials, Trelleborg aims to deliver improved traction and extended durability to help customers maximise productivity and efficiency required by modern farming, ensuring long-lasting performance in demanding conditions. According to Trelleborg, the TM800 ProgressiveTraction® has up to 18% better wear resistance, resulting in fewer replacements, longer working hours and reduced operational costs. Its reinforced carcass ensures improved handling and stability, even at high speeds, while providing a smooth, safe and comfortable ride for operators during prolonged use in the field.
