Michelin’s Tweel technology has arrived and is now available in limited formats for specialist applications
Designed as an airless tyre solution, the Tweel was initially a research project that came out of Michelin’s Greenville, South Carolina research department.
The aim was to create a puncture-proof tyre – or in this case a wheel and tyre assembly. Initially shown as an R&D product for passenger car use, the Tweel is now available in a limited number of speciality applications.
