This upcoming season, the Bundesliga basketball team, Herner TC can rely on their new sponsor, Reifen Stiebling. The Herne tyre dealer has extended their contract with the German trophy-winners, which the team have maintained as a result of the ensuing pandemic, Covid-19.
Reifen Stiebling Continue Sponsoring Herner TC
Now within its sixth year, HTC boss, Wolfgang Siebert said of the partnership at the Stiebling company signing at their headquarters, in Herne: “We would not be able to finance top-class basketball without the support of Reifen Stiebling, as a third of our previous supporters could no longer maintain their support as a direct result of the pandemic, and we can’t survive solely through income generated from the spectactors.”
Likewise, for managing director, Christian Stiebling, he hopes that the partnership stands the test of time with numerous HTC games on site, adding that a withdrawal was never an issue: “The HTC is a flagship of our city and made sports history in 2019, thanks to the double win. We want to continue to support this great team, their excellent youth programme and the outstanding voluntary commitment throughout the club.”
The new season, originally supposed to comment October 24th, is still uncertain, however the ladies of the HTC, regardless of the current situation are striving for big results. After their double victory, the play-off games and the final tournament for the German cup is their ultimate goal. Reifen Stiebling have also extended their partnership of the only football club in Herne, the Black Barons, by one extra year.
