Bridgestone has recently introduced its new flagship Driver Terminal: the PRO X for fleet professionals. The PRO X is a tablet designed for truck and van fleets and it comes with improved performance and access to Webfleet Work App and professional navigation.
The PRO X
By offering access to Webfleet management services directly from the tablet, the Bridgestone PRO X connects drivers and businesses and helps them manage jobs easily. With the pre-installed Webfleet Work app, fleets have access to various Webfleet features, including workflow management, electronic Proof of Delivery (ePOD) and communication between drivers and fleet managers. The PRO X also offers access to Webfleet services such as Cold Chain, Remaining Drive Times and OptiDrive.
Van and truck fleets also have access to TomTom GO fleet professional navigation with ETA reporting, smart alerts for traffic or low-emission zones and more. Combined with OptiDrive, it provides drivers with real-time feedback to improve their driving behaviour. It also comes with pre-installed maps that are automatically updated each month.
An integrated Mobile Device Management (MDM) system, the Bridgestone PRO X can be customised to meet different needs, with a fully remote configuration of the devices’ home screen, auto-start, etc. The PRO X comes with an 8″ glass screen, a detachable battery and Android 13. It is made for professional use and is Android Enterprise Recommended while offering durability and purpose-built accessories.
Annick Renoux, Vice President of Webfleet Europe, said: “At Webfleet, we are always committed to delivering smart solutions that enhance the working conditions and safety of our customers and their drivers, powered by the latest technology. That is why we are proud to introduce the new PRO X—now with even more functionality to help fleet managers streamline their operations, boost efficiency and strengthen their connection with field teams like never before.”
The PRO X is available for purchase in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, with more regions launching later this year.
