For the first time ever, Mitas presented its products at Salon International de l’Agriculture au Maroc (SIAM) 2025, held in Meknès from April 21st to 27th, alongside SPEN SPHF,  its long-standing partner in Morocco.

About the Event

As one of the largest agricultural fairs in Africa, SIAM attracts millions of visitors and thousands of exhibitors from around the world annually. According to Mitas, the 2025 edition was a perfect opportunity to present its tyre solutions to the Moroccan farmers and strengthen its presence in the region.

The brand’s team of experts welcomed visitors at the Mitas stand and were on hand throughout the event to offer advice, answer questions and provide personalised recommendations, reflecting Mitas’ strong commitment to presence alongside its customers and end users and understanding their daily needs.

Products

Mitas presented two of its flagship products at SIAM 2025: AC85 and Agriterra Ultra.

The AC85 is a radial tractor tyre designed for working on a variety of terrains and crop types. It provides traction, high load-carrying capacity and wear resistance, ensuring consistent performance throughout the seasons. Its flexible sidewalls and footprint help minimise soil compaction, preserving soil health and crop yield.

The Agriterra Ultra tyre is designed for modern agricultural trailers and tankers, where high-speed road transport and heavy loads are involved. With its steel-belted construction, the tyre offers improved stability, reduced rolling resistance and improved fuel efficiency. Its self-cleaning tread pattern improves grip in the field while ensuring a smooth and quiet ride on the road.

“Participating at SIAM is a significant milestone for Mitas as we continue to grow our footprint in North Africa,” said Richard Leborgne, Managing Director AME at Yokohama TWS. “We are proud to showcase our trusted tyre solutions alongside SPHF and engage directly with Moroccan farmers and professionals. The interest and positive feedback we received confirm the value Mitas can bring to this dynamic agricultural region.”
