The Mitas HC (High Capacity) radial tyre range has expanded its collection with the HC 3000 R tyre. At 1000/65R32 CFO, the new tyre features very high flexion and rounded shoulder sections, which is why the tyre is part of the ‘R’ range.
The New HC 3000 R Tyre Built with VF Technology and Designed for High Load Capacities
The new HC 3000 R tyre – with Very High Flexion (VF) technology is suitable not just for combine harvesters but has also been designed for self-propelled slurry tankers, as well as other heavy agricultural equipment. The new rounded shoulder designs and flexible sidewalls reinforced with VF construction showcases its versatility on the field.
Pavel Kott, Mitas Product Manager for agricultural tyres explained the inspiration behind the tyre saying, “We developed this new tyre in response to market demand for a high load capacity tyre for slurry tankers, equipping it with a new and highly soil-friendly tread pattern,
The tyre has an innovative carcass structure, which means the tyre has up to 40% higher load capacity than standard tyres. The higher load capacity means the tyre is great for cyclic field operations when the load on the machine frequently changes. The tyre also has gentle ground handling, which is ideal when turning in fields or on grassland.
Mitas has designed this tyre to be used at lower inflation pressure, so the HC 3000 R tyre has excellent traction and reduced slippage, which results in better fuel economy and productivity. Kott adds that “These features provide great benefits from both an economic perspective and in terms of reducing environmental impact.”
