Michelin has introduced two new dimensions to the MICHELIN CrossGrip range: 440/80 R 34 and 480/80 R 34. The versatile MICHELIN CrossGrip range, an All Season tyre for backhoes, telescopic loaders and small and medium power tractors is designed for multipurpose use both on the road and in the field.
Michelin Announces CrossGrip Range Expansion
With this addition, the range now has a total of 12 references, available both as original equipment and as replacement.
Guillaume Vidal, Michelin‘s Director of Agricultural Marketing and Civil Engineering for France, states: “The expansion of the MICHELIN CrossGrip range responds to strong market demand. Now we have the opportunity to produce tyres for tractors whose main activity is road maintenance, both for local authorities and for agricultural and maintenance companies. This range, particularly suitable for snow removal machinery work, is nail-resistant and is designed to meet the requirements of the toughest winter conditions. Now is the time to test this new solution ”.
Within the range of tyres for agro-industrial use, MICHELIN CrossGrip tyres are part of the Compact Line offering, which includes solutions for compact vehicles and their various uses. They offer a high load capacity and their special rubber compound allows a versatile use all year round. The non-directional tread sculpture ensures excellent precision during maneuvering, both forward and backward. Its high heels give it great traction. The asymmetrical shoulders help improve grip and stability on inconsistent surfaces, where good traction is imperative for safety.
With 196 studs in the tread, MICHELIN CrossGrip tyres also improve comfort by reducing vibration. Moreover, they have a special reinforcement to provide excellent resistance to puncture. The depth of the tread has been carefully optimised for greater soil protection.
