Leading international OTR tyre manufacturer, Netherlands-based Magna Tyres, will again be returning as an exhibitor at this year’s Tire Cologne show at Koelmesse, Germany.
Focus For New Magna Range Aimed at All Industries
The Magna Tyres sales team will showcase a selected range of their popular tyres for the mining, earthmover, industrial, port handling, crane, and agricultural industries. At the same time, they will particularly highlight two of their latest additions to their expanding product portfolio—the recently introduced M-Truck tyre series and Magna’s own in-house TPMS system.
The Magna M-Truck is specifically designed for trucking, haulage, tanker, and trailer applications and is available in a choice of steer, drive, all position and trailer fitments in the long haul, regional, and construction segments. The range also incorporates an impressive steel belted casing with a special rubber compound, which ensures high resistance levels against punctures and other field hazards.
At the same time, the M-Truck tread pattern guarantees outstanding field and road traction performance while effectively reducing vibration when driven at road speed. The tyres also provide high grip levels on all types of road surfaces through first-class self-cleaning capabilities. A comprehensive presentation of the M-Truck range will be available for inspection on the Magna stand, which currently is available in eight pattern options: RG10 – RG11 – RG20 – RG30 – RG31 – CO10 – C020 and CO30. Each has its own innovative features and benefits for use in various industrial applications.
Magna TPMS System Launch
Magna Tyres will also use this year’s event to highlight, for the very first time in Europe, the recent launch of the company’s exclusive TPMS System. This system provides real-time tyre pressure and temperature monitoring with alerts on moderate and extreme readings 24/7, even when the machine is unpowered.
The Magna Tyres TPMS System also permits users to swiftly react to situations in the field by immediately identifying problems and providing prompt solutions. The system can send automatic emails of actions to the appropriate person within the organisation and be easily linked to a desktop version and a mobile app (iOS/Android). With GPS location tracking of the TPMS, the system monitors distance travelled and hours used for tyre usage statistics.
Additional benefits include valve-specialised sensors that continuously measure all the information needed for smooth operation, including pressure, heat, speed, and distance. The Magna Gateway is the beating heart of information gathering for Magna tyres, which is measured by the sensors and through the CAN-bus, then collected and transmitted in real-time.
Plus, the system monitors every move and statistic of an entire fleet, no matter when or wherever in the world it is operating. It reduces downtime and improves efficiency to help fleet managers oversee maintenance and detect early issues for prompt corrective actions. It also saves time on pressure checks and meets legal requirements, highlighting potential problems and preventing exceeding load capacities. Ongoing demonstrations of Magna’s TPMS system will be available to all visitors to the stand.
