One of Magna’s customers in Poland has multiple scrap steel recycling plants operating with several Terex Fuchs MHL 370 heavy-duty material handlers equipped with OE tyres.
Polish Customer Prefers Magna Tyres over OE
However, the client was not happy with the performance of the OE tyres and after several thousand hours of operation with the standard equipment, the machines needed replacement tyres. Considering the customer’s moderate satisfaction with the original solution and the difficulties with obtaining a new set, they turned to the professionals from Magna Tyres Poland for help.
Magna supplied the customer with a set of new 20.5-25 Magna MA601 tyres, along with specially customised and reinforced rims. These rims support the weight of the vehicle reaching, depending on the specification, up to nearly 55 tons. With the Magna MA601 tyres, the customer is guaranteed with high mileage and cut protection.
Magna offered its customer an alternative to the original equipment of their machines. The standard OE solution was, in their case, not necessarily the best solution for their needs. The customer is happy with the Magna MA601 tyres and is very satisfied with their performance so far.
