      NEWS Digraph Announces Aggressive Growth Plans for UK CV Parts Market 2035, human life is expected to be more connected to technologically advanced systems such as artificial intelligence and robotics. Future mobility in this era will likely not be limited to transporting a person to a different location, but will also expand to providing new experiences and values to the traditional mobility environment. As such, the participants of the project will be asked to create a new tyre concept using autonomous driving technology, proposing a whole new experience to the future of driving. In association with the prestigious UK’s Royal College of Art in London, over 10 students majoring in vehicle design will participate in the project. They will be required to present a 3D model of a future tyre, including tyre, wheel, and exterior design. The project starts in January and concludes at the end of March. Selected entries will be animated and actual size mock-ups created ready for the award ceremony in September.   Digraph will open 16 new branches in the next six months and create fleet operators and truck and trailer repairers. Solid backing from an experienced team of seasoned professionals supports these aggressive growth plans for Digraph. We are building our new branches around the best team players.” Branch expansions and upgrades are happening in Gloucester, Northampton, Nuneaton and Stoke. The Northwich branch is relocating to larger premises in Ellesmere Port which will treble the stock holding and give improved deliveries to the customer base. Brand new Digraph branches are also planned for Bristol, Cardiff, Carlisle, Crawley, Farnborough, Glasgow, Heathrow, Leeds, Leighton Buzzard, Manchester, Norwich, Peterborough, Preston, Reading, Swindon and Woodford Green. The expansion is part of Digraph’s strategy to transform the industry by helping customers to reduce downtime, cut costs and increase efficiency. The new outlets are in key locations across the UK, stretching from Glasgow in the north to Crawley in the south. Each branch of this family-owned business stocks a wide range of original-quality parts from all leading manufacturers, providing fast, off-the-shelf deliveries to commercial vehicle This April, Vacu-Lug will be informing visitors to The Commercial Vehicle Show how their fleet can benefit – economically, environmentally and legally - from the company’s tyre management service. Vacu-Lug will be taking the opportunity to demonstrate to those responsible for fleet safety, sustainability, a selection of Vacu- Lug’s retread tyres will also be on show, including products from the Logistik range, which have been specifically built using production techniques and technologies used in aircraft and high-performance tyres to give operators the lowest costs per kilometre, whilst also increasing fuel efficiency. The company have Tyre Management ‘Top of the Agenda’ for Vacu-Lug at this Year’s CV Show            Hankook Launches Innovative Design Project with the Royal College of Art compliance and efficiency exactly how selecting Vacu-Lug as their tyre management provider will significantly assist them in ensuring tyre targets are met and risks are eradicated. Working with their environmental partner, Murfitts Industries, who recycle all of Vacu-Lug’s waste tyres, visitors will also be able to see what happens to waste tyres at the end of their lives. The Vacu-Lug stand – which is number 4G110 - can be found in Hall 4 at The Commercial Vehicle 2018, which takes place between the 24th and 26th April at Birmingham’s NEC.   Hankook has announced the launch of its ‘2018 Design Innovation’ project. Held every two years, the Design Innovation project realises the infinite possibilities of a tyre through designing creative and realistic alternatives to driving. ‘2018 Design Innovation’ will be held under the theme of ‘Extending Future Life Beyond Mobility’.
