       Goodyear European TruckForce Awards 2016
Hankook Debuts New Truck Products at the 31st ADAC Truck Grand Prix
Luxembourg was the location for the European 2016 TruckForce Awards presented by Goodyear, which recognised outstanding customer support from its 2000- strong network of service providers across Europe. This awards ceremony was organised in parallel with the official launch of the new Dunlop on- road truck tyre range and was part of the second international TruckForce Convention. The event was attended by more than 80 service providers from 20 countries.
Premio Roespel of Kesselsdorf in Germany won the “Outstanding Service Deliver y Award” beating the nominated City 1st Tyres of the UK and Hinkus Rehv OÜ of Estonia to the prize.
Another partner of Premio Reifen + Autoservice, F+H Driekluft Reifenhandel, based in Eppingen, Germany received the “Outstanding Breakdown Support Award”. LKW Pneu in the Czech Republic and TruckForce United Kingdom were also in contention for the prize after receiving nominations. Polish company PUH Centrum Arkadiusz Gradowski won the “Fleet Recognition Award”, for service partners nominated specifically by truck fleets for the high quality service they deliver.
Pneus Graas of Luxembourg and ABA Bandenservice of the Netherlands were also nominated.
The award for the “Outstanding use of Technology” was presented to the Spanish firm Neumáticos Iruña, with Banden de Condé of Belgium being the only competing nominee.
With regards to the awards ceremony Nigel Sowerby explained that, “This was the second pan-European TruckForce Convention we have held. The convention itself and the TruckForce Awards underline the importance we put on our partners and the excellence we deliver across the TruckForce network.” Sowerby also stated that the awards ceremony additionally introduced the new Dunlop on-road truck tyre range, covered a number of topics including truck industry megatrends and the changing environment they are working in, the future strategy for the network as well as recent and future developments to help make their partners’ jobs easier including eJob, FleetOnlineSolutions (FOS) Next Generation, FOS Indirect and their ServiceLine 24h roadside assistance.
