Westlake sponsored Flyweight world champion Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez recently successfully retained his WBC flyweight world title against the dangerous IBF flyweight champion McWilliams Arroyo.
The 28-year old Gonzalez, one of the most technically sound fighters in the sport, said that it was a very difficult fight because Arroyo is an excellent competitor. “He knows how to avoid the punches and moves fast.
I wanted to fight him, but it was difficult to catch him,” he said. Gonzalez added that there will be a lot of bigger fights for him in the future.
“We are proud of Gonzalez and will continue to support and accompany him in all the fierce competition that he will face in the future, helping him to gain more. We believe that Gonzalez will bring us more pleasant surprises,” said a spokesman for Westlake.
e-jobsheet Talks Multiple Languages
e-jobsheet.com, the digital tablet- based work exchange for truck, bus and van tyres, has now gone live in French, German and Spanish, driving its penetration into Europe to appeal to service providers on the continent.
The e-jobsheet.com offering is a cloud-based job launch and work management platform within the e- jobsheet subscription which supports breakdown work, vehicle inspections, scheduled service work and supply/movement of tire(s) for any subscribing service provider, even those with a single fitter.
The software has been designed to improve the visibility and operational agility of field and depot commercial tyre service operations. It will allow business owners to see each stage that a fitter is at while work is in progress or indeed, where jobs have been rejected or put on
hold. In addition, completed job details are professionally presented via a branded and formatted electronic document.
Service providers can sign up for a free 30-day trial to put the platform through its paces and experience the many time-saving and efficiency benefits it can offer their businesses. Steve Daly, director of CAM International, says, “We're delighted that e-bsheet.com is now talking multiple languages. We’re confident this ‘everyman’ solution will continue to gain in strength, as it makes inroads in Europe. It will scale from a single fitter operation to dozens of fitters, and will allow service providers to use the digital tablet to enjoy improved and more efficient work management, eventually delivering upstream value to participating fleet contract holders as well.”
ATS Euromaster Reduces Tyre Damage Costs for Heron
East Yorkshire-based grocery retailer Heron Foods has seen its tyre running costs and related downtime drop dramatically after appointing ATS Euromaster to supply and manage its tyres on a fixed-price contract.
Heron Foods selected ATS Euromaster because it needed an expert partner to manage its Michelin fitment policy across a busy fleet of 45 trucks, which is comprised of predominantly 40- tonne tractor units and trailers and 26-tonne rigids.
Skilled mobile technicians keep a close eye on Heron Foods’ tyres, with near daily inspections and reporting at the retailer’s depot in

Michelin CrossClimate Wins Van Fleet World Innovation Award
Michelin’s new CrossClimate tyre range has secured its second major fleet award in as many months, being named as winner of the Innovation Award at the Van Fleet World Honours 2016.
