The Infinity Tyres Foundation has announced its support of the ‘Amar Forever’ charity trust. Amar Forever is now well established in Kenya and thanks to benefactor donations and volunteer support, the organisation aims to make a positive impact on the lives of people in real need.
The charity’s focus is predominantly on supporting children’s life improvement in both rural locations and ‘slum’ town developments. For example, by the end of 2013, Amar Forever will be supporting over 10,000 children with school textbooks as well as providing learning institutions with classroom computers to help
educate and improve I.T. literacy. With little or no administration and overhead expenses, this ensures that every dollar donated to Amar Forever goes
directly on improving child welfare. On behalf of the Infinity Tyres Foundation, Mr. Harjeev Kandhari added: “One of the guiding principles of the Foundation is to support educational advances in the developing nations of Africa. Our focus is particularly fixed on supporting work with children and helping them overcome barriers not of their own making. In this respect the endeavours of ‘Amar Forever’ fit well with our own philosophy and deserve every help possible to continue to develop their excellent charity work in Kenya”.
Elddis Transport and TruckForce Celebrate 40th Anniversary
Elddis Transport, the recently named haulier of the year, is celebrating forty years of co- operation with service provider
vehicles and 11 trailers. We first began working with TruckForce because they are a local company and our belief has been, and still is,
TruckForce. The two joined forces way back in the 70’s when Elddis Transport was just starting out and TruckForce was known as TyreServices G.B.
Nigel Cook, Managing Director of Elddis Transport stated: “All those years ago, we started out as a small family business, with a fleet of six
to support local businesses where possible. Our family ethos underpins everything we do here; we care greatly about honesty, integrity and ultimately trust and we saw the same values in TruckForce.”
Today, Elddis is a major player in the road transport industry
