Yokohama Off-Highway Tires: Alliance Forestar III tyres approved by leading track manufacturers.
Alliance 643 Forestar III and 644 Forestar Can be Fitted with Tracks
Yokohama Off-Highway Tires (YOHT) has gained the official approval of Olofsfors, Clarks and Pewag as important track manufacturers for their tracks to be mounted and used on Alliance 643 Forestar III and Alliance 644 Forestar III tyres.
“Tracks further add to the already highly impressive grip and flotation characteristics of our Forestar III tyre portfolio, thus combining positive effects of tyres and tracks to an almost unbeatable performance. Be it steep terrain or wet and soft ground – this combination offers massive grip, low ground disturbance and low soil compaction”, explains Angelo Noronha, President Europe at Yokohama Off-Highway Tires.
Alliance 643 and 644 Forestar III Tyre Portfolio
Both the Alliance 643 Forestar III and the Alliance 644 Forestar III feature an improved nylon-steel-belted construction and reinforced hexagonal bead technology, thus ensuring excellent puncture resistance, high load carrying capacity and preventing rim slippage. The unique tread pattern of the 643 Forestar III with wider shoulder lugs and horizontal grooves enhances track compatibility and overall lateral stability. The Alliance 644 Forestar III comes with a specially-designed dual lug angle to provide incredible grip and traction. The large tread width of this tyre ensures a wider footprint and results in low ground pressure. Outstanding stability and remarkable resistance against damage ensure that the 643 Forestar III and the 644 Forestar III offer perfect solutions for all forestry needs. For specific track size enquiries, customers can connect with the track manufacturers directly or via their website.
Alliance 344 Forestar ELIT
The advanced low pressure (LP) tyre Alliance Forestar 344 ELIT: This unique tyre was designed with improved construction and flexible strong sidewalls which enable the tyre to carry the same load as a standard forestry tyre with half the inflation pressure. It offers a large footprint which leads to low soil compaction and a comfortable ride for the driver. The large footprint provides high traction, reduces fuel costs and increases overall productivity in forest work. The tread pattern ensures excellent grip in all terrains. This tyre is equipped with a steel reinforcement belt for high puncture resistance whilst a special tread compound enables long tyre life. The reinforced dual bead of the tyre and the reduced inflation pressure allows for exceptional performance and stability. The 344 Forestar ELIT’s lug angle also ensures top self-cleaning characteristics. The close spacing of the lugs in the centre of the tyre reduces rolling resistance on hard surfaces. The 344 is designed to handle all kinds of terrains with or without chains or bogie tracks.
