Fedecom, the Dutch Association responsible for companies that are active in technology for agriculture, dairy farming, landscaping and horticulture, as well as for the industry and internal transport have published the Q1 and Q2 results for tractor registrations in the Netherlands. The results cover the following tractor models: agricultural, narrow-gauge and compact.
Fedecom Publish Tractor Figures for First Half of 2021
According to Fedecom’s figures during Q1 and Q2 of 2021, 1235 units of agricultural and narrow-gauge tractors were registered in the Netherlands. This represents a 3.7% growth on 2020, when 1190 units were sold.
The picture looked similar for compact tractors as well, with 415 units sold during the first half of 2021. When compared to 2020’s performance, this represents a 6.9% increase on the 388 compact tractors that were sold.
These minor increases show a small improvement on a 2020 blighted by issues surrounding the pandemic, but original equipment tyre manufacturers will be hoping the market continues to move in a positive trend.
