Agricultural Engineer’s Association Reveal Latest Figures
Year-on-year figures should always be taken with a pinch of salt in 2021, when we look back and compare 2021’s performance to a 2020 that was plagued with lockdowns and economic strife. That being said the 43.1% increase on June’s 2020 benchmark of 1029 units is positive news for the sector.
The 1,473 units sold in June marked the fourth consecutive month that over 1,000 units had been sold in the UK market. Furthermore, June 2021’s positive outcome is further underlined when we look further back to June 2019 when 1,100 units were registered.
The continued growth and positive growth seen in tractor registrations in the UK market will give OE tractor tyre manufacturers confidence that farmers are willing to invest in their equipment and businesses.
