REIFF Süddeutschland Reifen und KFZ-Technik GmbH has recently agreed a new sales collaboration with Webfleet Solutions, reports Gummibereifung. REIFF will also offer the Webfleet Solutions software and hardware portfolio in its more than 30 branches in southern Germany as it becomes an installation partner for solutions in the medium term.
An important step for REIFF
The new partnership represents a useful deal that can benefit commercial fleet customers. For Webfleet Solutions, the partnership also opens up new market potential and increased synergy within the Bridgestone Group, to which both partners belong.
“The partnership with Webfleet Solutions combines our tyre and vehicle expertise with first-class telematics solutions. With this collaboration, we have the opportunity to support our customers even better and more innovatively in the area of fleet efficiency and thus, as a strong partner, to take care of the fleet comprehensively and in a connected fashion,” explains Thomas Wörner of REIFF management.
As a company, REIFF specializes in the sale of wheels and tyres as well as the provision of selected services in the field of vehicle and workshop services, whilst Bridgestone took over the REIFF Company in May. Wolfgang Schmid, Sales Director D-A-CH at Webfleet Solutions says of this partnership: “We at Webfleet Solutions help fleets of all sizes to increase their vehicle performance and reduce costs. In view of the economic developments, this task is more important than ever. We are pleased that with our new partner REIFF we have been able to win a strong partner who is highly valued for his competence in order to provide our customers with even more comprehensive support. Our WEBFLEET software solution and hardware components for collecting and evaluating data combined with the ideally fitting tyres can significantly reduce the operating costs of vehicle fleets.” He also argued that it is now becoming clear how synergies are to be used in the future.
At the Webfleet Solutions Mobility Conference from November 4 to 5, 2020, Webfleet Solutions and Bridgestone will be presenting themselves digitally for the first time together with lecture topics and speakers from the fields of tyre and vehicle competence as well as telematics. Keynote speakers include Thomas Schmidt, CEO Bridgestone Mobility Solutions, Christoph Frost, Director Commercial Products at Bridgestone Central Europe, and Florian Kemmerling, Head of Internet of Things at DB Schenker.
