Allen starts by thanking International Tyres clients; “As 2024 draws to a close, I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to all truck fleets, tyre specialists, and our valued partners across the United Kingdom. This year has been marked by significant accomplishments and progress for PRINX Chengshan, the world-leading tyre manufacturer behind the FORTUNE brand— exclusively distributed in the UK by International Tyres.”

In 2024, International Tyres took critical steps towards meeting the evolving demands of the UK’s commercial vehicle sector. Allen says; “Our longstanding heritage of over 50 years has taught us the importance of blending innovation, sustainability, and reliability. One of our most noteworthy achievements is our position as the only manufacturer to offer its own retread product line, demonstrating our longstanding commitment to environmental responsibility. Furthermore, we have been among the first to fully align with the new European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) requirements, ensuring that our sourcing remains ethically and ecologically sound.”

Crucially, International Tyres is making the FORTUNE brand more readily available across the whole of the UK—especially Scotland and Northern Ireland—ensuring that key tyre specialists can access and recommend our top-quality products to their regional fleets. Allen adds: “We have also been encouraged by positive road test data from key UK partners, particularly on our FAM210 and FDM215 lines where we have unique patterns.

Fortune from International Tyres
The Fortune range is to grow in 2025

“This year, we extended our current product portfolio by introducing Nordic winter options, specialty sizes for advanced vehicles, and completing our range with a well-defined lineup of Summer and 4 Season Van products under the FORTUNE banner. The van products were launched into the UK during Q4 2024 and we have already received some very positive feedback in line with the TBR range. The Nordic options will be phased in during Q3 2025 but available to pre order now.”

Looking forward, Allen predicts further growth with PRINX Chengshan; “As we move into 2025, I am delighted to forecast another year of growth, innovation, and adherence to best sustainability practices. We plan to launch new product applications and modern sizes designed to optimize fleet performance and reduce downtime. Alongside these product developments, we look forward to engaging closely with partners and customers at key UK industry events. I am delighted to announce that we will once again be at the RTX in June 2025. Another highlight for the coming year will be our pursuit of ECOVADIS certification, reinforcing our commitment to environmental, social, and governance excellence. “

Summarising, Allen said; “2024 has positioned us at the forefront of sustainable, high-performance tyre solutions for UK operators, while 2025 promises to build on this momentum. On behalf of PRINX Chengshan and International Tyres, I thank our clients for their trust, partnership, and collaboration. Together, we will continue to drive innovation forward, ensuring that our partners can equip UK fleets with the highest quality, responsibly sourced tyres for a more sustainable and profitable future.”
