Hankook presented its Main Innovations in Road Transport Tyres
Hankook presented all its new products at the Salão Nacional do Transporte, Portugal’s most important transport trade fair, which celebrated its sixth edition last weekend with around 20,000 visitors. For the first time, the premium tyre brand set up a stand where visitors were able to see first-hand all the new products for road transport, including the two most recent, the SmartFlex AL51 and DL51 tyres. Guy Heywood, Hankook’s Vice President Strategic Marketing for Truck & Bus, said: ” Hankook’s new hybrid range has been developed to meet these new demands and offers optimum fuel efficiency, high mileage and, thanks to the 3D profile, maximum grip and safety from the first to the last millimetre of the tread”.
Hankook’s Growing Presence in the Iberian Market
Hankook is increasingly present in the Iberian market, so being in this show meant a step forward in an emerging and expanding market such as the Iberian one, and with sustained growth data both in Spain and Portugal, as evidenced by the large number of people who came to see for themselves the advantages of these new tyres.
In the words of Nuno Bargas, Hankook’s representative at the Salão Nacional do Transporte de Portugal, “Hankook is carrying out a renewal of the entire truck product range, nationally, regionally and internationally, raising Hankook’s market position and product share”. Thus, the show was the place chosen to show first-hand the benefits of tyres specially designed for commercial vehicles, with a special focus on delivering great performance and profitability.
