Hankook has been announced as official partner for three significant summer UK trucking events: the new ‘by invitation only’ ‘Best of the Best’ Truck Show at Westpoint Arena, Exeter on 14th and 15th September, the Devon Truck Show on 18th – 19th May at Smeathorpe Stadium, Honiton and the Truck Show Cornwall at Stithians Showground, Truro on 26th -28th July. These shows focus on commercial transport solutions and showcase the very best of commercial vehicles across the UK and Europe. Hankook will showcase a range of truck tyres featuring the latest 3D technologies to maintain the wet grip and traction in all weathers and throughout the whole life of the tyre tread.
Hankook Announced as Official Partner for Summer Trucking Events
The Hankook truck tyres on display will include the 22.5″ SmartFlex AH51 (steer) and SmartFlex DH51 (drive), which deliver high grip and mileage performance from the first to the last millimetre of wear, the smaller SmartFlex AH35 and DH35 and the SmartFlex TH31, its latest generation trailer tyre.
There will also be two tyres from Hankook’s latest retread ‘Alphatread’ range: the all-season R-DH31 for the drive axle with 3D sipes for excellent traction and high mileage and, for the trailer axle, the R-TH31 which offers good traction and water drainage. Alongside Hankook truck tyres, the company will be presenting two tyres from its Laufenn brand: the all-position LF22 designed for long life steer axle service and the LF95, a robust trailer tyre with high durability and mileage.
As well as main event sponsor, Hankook shall be category sponsor of ‘Best in Show Truck’ and ‘Best in Show Light Commercial’. Open to any drivers showcasing their vehicle at the events, these awards recognise those owners and operatives who go above and beyond to meet road and industry standards, including vehicle and tyre maintenance and safety.

With monster truck rides, live action in the main arena, live music from the Wurzels, N Trance, Kevin n Perry, Ian Van Dahl, Scott Mills and Woody Cook, funfair and of course the show trucks, there is something for everyone at the 2024 shows.”
The Devon Truck Show will take place on 18th – 19th May at Smeathorpe Stadium, Honiton, the Truck Show Cornwall on 26th – 28th July 2024 at Stithians Showground, Truro and ‘Best of the Best, at Westpoint Arena, Exeter on 14th – 15th September.
