Over 90 Exhibitions to Exhibit at Brand New Commercial Vehicle Trade Show with HGVs to be the Focus
Hankook will be front and centre at the Road Transport Expo 2022, showcasing at Stand F4 its SmartFlex AH51 and SmartFlexDH51 tyres. Among the exhibitors, there will be several mainstream truck and trailer manufacturers and specialist heavy haulage vehicles, through to parts specialists and professional services attending. Alongside the exhibition will be a two-day programme of seminars, workshops and technical talks.
Hankook is looking to focus on sustainability with its SmartLife concept designed to maximise the best possible performance of the tyre, from the first to the last millimetre of tread depth. Hankook notes that its casing, combined with its regrooving and the tyre’s overall retreading potential, means the life of the tyre can be increased by up to 250 per cent, making for resource conservation and cost savings.
According to Hankook’s analysis, compared to their predecessors, there has been a considerable increase in mileage performance for both new tyre patterns with 15 per cent for the steering axle and 20 per cent for the driving axle. With an additional 10 per cent in rolling resistance for the SmartFlex AH51 and DH51 tyres, these design developments ensure improved fuel consumption and CPK (cost per kilometre) index, compared to the 31 series tyres.
