JPE Holdings Win Operational Excellence Award
For more than 35 years, the Motor Transport Awards have been seen as a benchmark for excellence among UK road transport fleet operators, vehicle manufacturers and innovators. This year saw the 37th Motor Transport Awards take place. More than 1,300 guests gathered to celebrate the achievements of the industry, which has faced another challenging year, and to recognise innovation, outstanding service, efficiency and quality.
The operations team of any fleet operator are often the unsung heroes who make the business tick. Balancing the need for the business to make money and deliver great service while remaining fully compliant is what is needed to win this Operational Excellence Award.
Lindsay Smith said after the event, “I really am accepting this award on behalf of all of our staff as they actually deserve all the credit; without their skill and dedication there would be no facts to present. In addition to this the fiscal investment by the organisation in compliant systems and training is also something that cannot be understated. Thanks also go to Hankook for sponsoring this award.”
Paul Emery commented “The Hankook team always look forward to attending this prestigious event and as one of the market leaders in the UK on Truck Tyres we recognise the importance of such an award and are proud to be the sponsor. I think it is fair to say the entire evening went extremely well and may I once again congratulate JPE Holdings on winning this coveted award.”
