Grupo Andrés’ business strategy is yielding dividends with an impressive EUR 219 million turnover last year, despite Covid-19 adversely affecting the sector throughout the year.
Andrés Neumáticos Sees High Orders on B2B Sales Platform
With 7 million online orders on its B2B platform, Andrés Neumáticos saw its technological platform as a great marketing and customer service tool for its 20,000 clients who utilise the platform. Eduardo Salazar, CEO argued that Grupo Andrés as a team are “outdoing ourselves when it comes to service we provide to professional garages”. He added that the platform “leads us to deploy a continuous innovation strategy to increase customer loyalty and to motivate sales”.
2021 also proved an integral year for the Spanish-based distributor with the inauguration of its headquarters and new warehouse in Salamanca helping to provide a seamless distribution process across the Iberian Peninsula. With its Salamanca, Madrid and Barcelona facilities combined, Grupo Andrés can now store 700,000 tyres at a time.
Its Seville base also uses a system of logistics robotics to ensure a swift handling of up to 30,000 tyres that enter and leave the warehouse each day.
On top of this, Grupo Andrés opened a distribution centre in Seville which can stock up to 32,000 tyres and is a strategic base for deliveries to the Spanish regions of Andalusia and Extremadura.
For Salazar, the distributor’s broad portfolio of exclusive brands and partnerships with tyre manufacturers helps Grupo Andrés stand out. He said, “Grupo Andrés not only seeks the highest cost-savings for our customers, but it also makes itself available to manufacturers to reach the best collaboration agreements that are beneficial for both parties.”
Grupo Andrés in 2022 is looking to increase its commitment to sustainability, as well as looking towards a more international projection going forward.
