Prometeon joins Dakar 2025 with Martin Macík Jr., 2024 winner, equipping six MM Technology trucks with Series 02 Rally tyres.
Martin Macík Jr. and Prometeon Partner Again for the 2025 Dakar Rally
Prometeon Tyre Group is partnering again with Martin Macík Jr., the winner of the 2024 Dakar rally, one of the most brutal rallying events in the world. Martin Macík Jr. will defend his title at this year’s event. At the same time, Prometeon reaffirms its commitment to high-level motorsport competition. Prometeon will equip six rally trucks fielded by the Czech company MM Technology with the company’s new S02 Rally tyres. This will include the factory truck of Martin Macík Jr.’s team.
The new factory truck paintwork design was revealed at a press conference held in Prague, simultaneously unveiling the new livery for the driver helmets and racing suits. The latter, in a black, white, and dark blue colourway, pays tribute to the Prometeon partnership.
The new Prometeon S02 Rally tyres are designed to handle extreme conditions, such as those in the Arabian desert, and will be put to the test during the two intense weeks of racing. The event officially begins on 3rd January 2025. It occurs across 12 stages with various demanding terrains such as sand, mud, and rocks.
Crucial Collaboration

Prometeon Series 02 Tyres
The Prometeon S02 Rally tyre is part of the new Series 02. It uses the same technological package but is customised for rally competition. It is designed to offer outstanding structural integrity in the most extreme off-road conditions.
