According to the latest ANFAC report, light commercial vehicle (LCV) registrations in Spain increased in December 2024. However, industrial vehicle registrations and bus registrations declined.

In December 2024, LCV registrations in Spain increased by 10.7%, with a total of 14,532 vehicles registered, according to the latest ANFAC data. From January 2024 to December 2024, the number of LCV registrations increased by 10.6% in Spain, with 165,847 new registrations. Renault, Ford, Toyota, Peugeot and Volkswagen were among the most purchased LCVs. The regions that recorded the highest numbers of LCV registrations include Madrid, Catalonia, Andalucia, Valencia and the Canary Islands.
Industrial vehicle registrations (light, medium and heavy trucks) declined by 11.7% in December 2024, with a total of 2.076 registrations. However, from January 2024 to December 2024, the number increased by 12% with 32,140 units registered. MAN, Iveco, Mercedes, DAF and Volvo were among the most purchased brands in this category. The regions that recorded the highest numbers of industrial vehicle registrations in Spain include Madrid, Andalucia, Catalonia, Valencia and Castilla La Mancha.
Bus registrations significantly declined by 40.6% in December 2024, with 165 new units registered. From January 2024 to December 2024, the number increased by 15.9%, with 4,369 new registrations. Irizar, Iveco, King Long, Mercedes, and Otokar were among the most purchased buses in Spain. Asturias, Catalonia, Madrid, Andalucia and the Basque Country were the regions that recorded the highest numbers of bus registrations in Spain.
