Continental show truck will travel across Europe for the third time in 2025, alongside interactive training sessions and exhibitions at various events.
Continental Show Truck Touring Europe
After its second year on the road, Continental show truck has visited 23 countries and covered more than 37,000 kilometres visiting various events across Europe in 2024. People had a chance to follow this adventure live on the European Roadshow Blog through the exciting adventures of Continental show truck driver Ronny Nittmann. The blog featured plenty of written content from the countries that the show truck visited along the way, covering various topics such as fleet efficiency, eco-friendly fleet management and smart technology.
2024 Highlights
The Continental show truck started its journey with a visit to the Netherlands before moving to the south of Europe and attending events in Italy, Portugal and Spain. After that, Continental made sure to visit the Czech Republic, Switzerland and Austria as well. After a stop in Germany, the show truck went to visit the north of Europe and stopped in Sweden before heading to the southeast of Europe and visiting Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia and Bulgaria in autumn. The 2024 highlights also include the Truck Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, the logistics fair “Fiesta de la Logística” in Spain and the “Transport Show”, a major fleet fair, in Brno, Czech Republic.
The European Roadshow Blog and Ronny Nittmann have provided the tour with a digital travel companion. Ronny’s impressions, experiences and observations raise awareness as well as provide interesting content and stories from around Europe.
Jorge Cajal, Head of Communication at Continental Spain, joined the blog writing team for the tour across his home country. “Our #ContiEuropeanRoadshow through Spain is a great success,” he wrote and recounted how the Continental team had taken the chance – at seven different stop-offs – to showcase to customers the added value the company’s products provide. The show truck was also present at the “Fiesta de la Logística”, one of the most important logistics fairs on the calendar, and – as Cajal noted – did a great job attracting the attention of 3,200 visitors.
Heading into 2025
Continental show truck will hit the road for the third time in 2025, bringing its interactive exhibitions to customers and partners around Europe. The exhibition will feature the latest products and solutions from Continental, including the LODC holistic consultancy approach to reduce operating costs, the special-purpose tyres for vans and the current range of tyres for commercial vehicles.
As a part of the onboard training sessions, the Continental team will explore the company’s digital solutions for efficient and sustainable tyre and fleet management and present the premium retreaded tyre range. “Inside the show truck we take a look at the products and services that help our fleet customers to overcome the major challenges of the industry,” says Jessika Hoeflich, Head of Fleet Solutions at EMEA. “Both our customers and our colleagues in the markets appreciate us coming to see them in person. We have come up with a different kind of platform here to discuss questions raised by haulage companies, tyre retailers and vehicle manufacturers.”
The European Roadshow Blog has proved its worth as a digital companion to and promoter of the tour. In 2025, responsibility for the platform will pass to the markets, who will be able to continue using the blog for their communications activities around the show truck.
