Bridgestone will present its latest Developments at Steinexpo
Bridgestone will once again be presenting its comprehensive OTR tyre portfolio at this year’s international trade fair for raw and construction materials. For the tyre manufacturer, the exhibition represents an important meeting point to reach end users and expand partnerships. This year, the focus is on the presentation of premium products for construction machinery used in extraction, including the new Bridgestone VMTD tyre in the dimension 24.00 R35. From August 23 to the 26th, Europe’s largest basalt quarry will be hosting Steinexpo 2023 in Nieder-Ofleiden, Hesse (Germany) to present the latest innovations and service offers, as well as to encourage networking between leading construction machinery manufacturers, technology and additional equipment suppliers and service providers. As a representative of the OTR segment, Bridgestone will also be present and will provide information about its complete product line-up.
New Bridgestone VMTD: Improved traction and load Capacity in Mining Applications
A special highlight is the introduction of the new Bridgestone VMTD in the 24.00 R35 dimension. This particular tyre has an extra-deep tread for maximum traction on unpaved roads and offers excellent durability, making it ideal for quarry and mining applications. Compared to its predecessor, the Bridgestone VMTP, the new VMTD premium tyre also enables an 8 percent improvement in load capacity.
The Bridgestone tyre demonstration will focus not only on performance, but also on the importance of correct inflation pressure for optimum tyre performance. For this reason, the Bridgestone Tire Pressure Monitoring System TPMS will also be demonstrated on site, which enables precise monitoring and control of tyre pressure.
