2024 was a landmark for BKT, as the company introduced new solutions that meeting the challenges of modern agriculture in terms of both innovation and sustainability

BKT  Looks back at 2024

Indeed, these new tyres combine efficiency, productivity and reduced environmental impact. AGRIMAX PROCROP, designed for row crops and spraying, features the VF technology to reduce inflation pressure and soil compaction. The tread has been optimized to provide traction, stability, and comfort on a variety of different surfaces while enhancing crop protection.

AGRIMAX SPARGO SB, instead, is BKT’s response to the needs of operations in orchards, vineyards as well as during road transfers. Thanks to its higher tread pattern and a steel belt, this tyre offers excellent handling, durability, and road performance up to 65 km/h, improving hence operational efficiency.

For combine harvesters, AGRIMAX PROHARVEST features a new standard of strength and traction thanks to a reinforced casing and a special compound that ensure productivity and soil protection, even on challenging terrains.

Finally, RIDEMAX FROST is designed to meet winter challenges. Its elastic compound ensures top performance even below zero, making the tyre ideal for transportation on snowy or icy surfaces, combining safety and comfort.

A sustainable future

In 2024, BKT reduced non-renewable electricity consumption by 26 per cent, saving 28,000 tons of CO2. 99 per cent of the generated waste was recycled or reused, leading to a significant reduction in plastic waste. In addition, 25,000 trees were planted, and water withdrawal was reduced in endangered areas.

Looking ahead to 2025, BKT will further innovate by means of sustainable, high-performance solutions, keeping the use of natural resources at the core of its strategy when launching new products at the upcoming trade shows scheduled for 2025.
