BestDrive, Continental’s network of rapid mechanics workshops, held its annual convention in Seville last June 4, themed as The BestDrive Experience.
BestDrive Convention Focuses on Service Quality and Customer Experience
At the convention, the Continental group network analysed the current evolution, opportunities and challenges of the sector in normalised post-pandemic activity. The convention was inaugurated by the general director of ContiTrade, Gonzalo Giménez, who highlighted in his speech the main figures and milestones of the network in recent years. Giménez set the tone for the convention by emphasising the central theme of the event which is the quality of the experience for both the end customer and network partners.
During the convention, which was hosted by the journalist Chimo Ortega, there were various presentations, debates and round tables that included speakers such as Raúl González, Co-Founder of Somos Movilidad, Miguel Ángel Cuerno, President of Open, and Cándido García, President of the National Electric Mobility Foundation, among others. These meetings analysed current and future trends in the automotive sector, emphasising aspects such as digitisation, profitability and electrification, key to the development and evolution of the workshop in the coming years.
Different working groups took place on quality, tools for digitisation and efficiency and profitability of the workshop, where attendees had the opportunity to look deeper into these issues and learn first-hand about the most immediate improvements and plans that the network has prepared for them. The event ended with two presentations on sustainability by Serca and Continental, where both companies showed their vision of the future and the tools they are developing to make mobility more and more sustainable.
