BestDrive part of the Continental Group has been continuing to support the Spanish economy after being included as an essential service by the Spanish Government on the 29th of March. Thanks to this, the tyre network is contributing to the mobility of people and goods as a parte of the minimum services that must be provided during the state of alarm.
BestDrive Providing Support to Essential Personnel
During this period, BestDrive has been depending on a total of 226 associated tyre shops throughout Spain and a further 2,000 shops across Europe. The network has been contributing in order to guarantee that Spain continues receiving the service it requires, whilst participating in maintaining the economy according to Government restrictions in the country.
Taking this into account, BestDrive has stated that it is conscious of the vital importance that mobility represents in these times, not just for people but goods as well and after taking hygienic and sanitary provisions as indicated by the Spanish authorities have implemented a series of services that ensure the continued flow of these persons and goods. This includes maintaining emergency roadside assistance, whilst they have suspended all non-essential functions to avoid exposure of customers and employees, offering telephone and or email service for all other issues.
Continental has additionally stated that they want to show their unconditional support and profound appreciation to all those involved in providing essential functions that are supporting work, the economy and the health system during the COVID19 pandemic.
